Hose Guard & Sleeve

HeatGuard is a completely non-asbestos, heat resistant, protective sleeving. Its special silicone coating can also withstand a broad range of solvents and fuels. It goes on easily over most hoses and couplings, with only hose clamps or wire ties required for fastening. Best of all, HeatGuard can pay for itself in reduced replacement and maintenance costs. HeatGuard is knitted, coated fibreglass; meets SAE AS1072A specification. Temperature range: -54°C to +260°C for continuous exposure.

Wire Spring Guard - recommended for hose protection & abrasion resistance

Temperature Range: -40°C to +121°C. Economical, lightweight plastic sleeving protects hose from water, air, gasoline, oil and hydraulic fluids. Can be used to bundle several hoses together.

SGX Standard: Available in black, Blue, Yellow and Red. SGXFRAS Flame Retardant Anti Static: compliance to ISO6805 Flat plastic spiral wrap desiged to protect hose or bundle hose for appearance and safety.

Gates Nylon Sleeves perform a dual role: They provide excellent abrasive resistance to protect individual hoses. They can be used to bundle several hose assemblies together for maximum protection. Downtime and maintenance costs are reduced. Nylon Sleeves are unique because they form an extra protective layer against abrasive forces. Construction: Thousands of tiny Nylon filaments, woven into the texturized yarn, "friz" providing a self-renewing shield that is extremely resistant to severe abrasion. Note: Do not use Nylon Sleeve where ambient temperature exceeds 120°C.

The LifeGuard line-of-sight sleeving system is an effective, economical alternative to costly metal shielding or re-routing of hose lines, and does not affect system performance. With an inner layer of tightly woven filament nylon and an outer layer of textured nylon that also resists abrasion, it meets ISO3457 and MSHA flame-resistance requirements.

Meets MDG41 Requirements. TexSleeve is a continuous nylon fibre treated with a special process to eliminate air from between fibres. This process gives the product a super compact textile weave making it far better than any other standard fibre sleeve on the market. The Department of Primary Industries requires this type of protection for hydraulic hoses where there is potential for harm to personnel or the environment in the event of a hose failure. TexSleeve also has excellent abrasion and fire resistance capabilities making it the top of the line choice in hose protection. Note: TexSleeve can be fitted clamped or unclamped. For best performance it is recommended that shrink-band clamps be used to secure the sleeve over the crimped hose ferrule.

EziSleeve is a multi-filament nylon textile sleeve (MSHA approved) designed to provide an additional protective layer over the hydraulic hose. The tight woven construction provides excellent abrasion resistance and may assist in prolonging the life of your hydraulic assemblies.
